I always liked the idea of running and tried it a few times on and off but never really stuck at it.
Nicola ran more often than I did and as she got more and more into running again, she signed up to Lawley’s first c25k. She managed to convince me to give it a go, although being honest I didn’t think it would last. That was January 2014. Since then I have run 5 marathons, 20 or so half marathons and numerous 10K’s and 5K’s, become a RL in 2016 and became a qualified Coach in Running Fitness in September 2018. I love running and it’s now a massive part of my life. It has introduced me to so many lovely and friendly people. At club you are most likely to see me in Group 1,2 or 3 and track session every other Monday.
